आज गोदना कला में अनेक युवा कलाकार बढ़िया चित्र बना रहे हैं, लेकिन उसमें कोमलता का भाव गायब है। वे कमाई करने वाली मशीन बनते जा रहे हैं।
हमलोग धार्मिक कहानियां, धार्मिक आख्यान या पौराणिक कथाओं को जानते ही कहां थे। आज भी उनके बारे में बहुत खास जानकारी नहीं है।
राजा सलहेस, बिहार की लोकगाथाओं में सबसे लोकप्रिय है। उनकी स्वीकार्यता सर्वजातीय समाज में है। इस लोकगाथा में अनेक अंतर्जातीय विवाह हैं। विवाहों के दौरान तमाम संघर्ष, जादू-टोना और दाव-पेंच दर्शकों को खासा रोमांचित करता है।
