Folkartopedia Media Archive is the first project in Bihar to combine the media collection of art contents; audio-visual interviews, dance, music and theatrical practices, oral histories, and cultural expressions. If you would like to send over original media content, please get in touch. That could include original audio-video recordings.

The Artist Archive is an upcoming searchable database of artists, art communities, and art organizations in India. The Archive makes their art practices more accessible to the art-loving communities and common mass, displaying their portfolios, art-making processes, their statements, profiles, and media publications as well as biographical information, including audio-visual content, if available. Become a member and we will create your custom profile page on Folkartopedia Archive formatted by SEO experts to achieve higher visibility in search results. The design of the page includes artist’s brief profile, artist’s statement, two articles written by experienced art writers/critics, show-off artist’s media publications, portfolio, social media connect, audio-visual promotion on social media platforms, back-links to your site (if available) and four edits per year.

Artists interested in participating in Artist Archive should send both Hindi and English versions of the following documents in one PDF file (20 MB max.):

Curriculum vitae
Brief introduction: 200 words, maximum
Artist’s statement: 1200 words, maximum

Any language version

Critic’s endorsement: 2 maximum

Media contents

Profile image: Minimum 3, landscape mode. One will be published.
Portfolio: 8 Artworks images
Media publications, news coverage: 8 images
Video profile or interview

Image Resolution:  5616 X 3744 / 4416 X 3312 / 4000 X 3000 / 3648 X 2736
For videos: UHD, HD, 16:9. Please add the links and passwords, if needed.

Artists interested in participating in Artist Archive will submit all the above mentioned contents at their own cost. Artists can avail services of the Folkartopedia empaneled content creators; writers, photographer or videographer to create brief introduction, and statements, art documentation, creators for video profiling, documentary film making etc. More details on services and charges.
